How do the collisions of differing air masses cause changes in the weather?
Explanation
When two air masses of different temperatures and densities meet, they do not mix easily. Instead, the warmer (less dense) air is forced to rise over the cooler (denser) air. As the warm air rises, it cools, leading to condensation and the formation of clouds and precipitation.
