Future Perfect: The future perfect is used to express events that will have been completed before another event occurs in the future. It consists of using 'will have' with the third infinitive of the verb. Example: -By the time she arrives, we will have finished our work. (By the time she arrives, we will have finished our work) 4. Future Perfect Continuous: The future perfect continuous is used to express ongoing events in future time that will have continued for a specific period of time before another event occurs in the future. It consists of using 'will have been' with the present continuous infinitive of the verb. Example: - By this time next year, they will have been living in the city for ten years. (By this time next year, they will have lived in the city for ten years) These are the main forms of future conjugations in English. It is recommended to practice their use in different sentences and texts to enhance students' understanding and correct use. |
