(I play football) - She reads a book. (she reads a book) -They go to school. (they go to school) The simple present tense is used to express daily routines, general facts, habits, and recurring events. It is also used to express scientific facts and natural laws. Adverbs of time such as "always", "usually", "sometimes", "often", and "never" can be used to indicate the frequency of an event. By understanding and using the simple present tense correctly, students in Grade 12 are able to express events and general facts in a clear and precise way. They learn how to form sentences in this tense and how to use it in dialogue and writing to express routine activities and recurring events in their daily lives. | ||
